Vs 28 Shannon Diversion

Just noticed on FlightRadar that VS28 has just landed at Shannon.

Anyone know why?

Medical Diversion

Never nice to hear - I hope the person involved makes a swift recovery. We had this diversion once coming home from MCO, again due to a medical emergency. It was quite an efficient process to behold....land.....take person off quickly to awaiting medical team...refuel and head on to LGW...adding less than 2 hours onto our flight.

Ba001 is stranded there at the moment. Attempt to rescue by another Jfk bound ex lhr flight has not been allowed by U.S. customs.
