How do I change my status at the bottom of my posts ?

It is way out of date
Need to update with upcoming holidays

go to the 'User Control Panel' (on the left under 'user menu')

then click 'profile'

then 'edit signature'

I think you may need to have it as

(event=2015/05/27) Dubai(/event)

replace the ( and ) with square brackets though
