LHR clubhouse early morning flight

Having just booked my first uc from heathrow. Little disappointed to see doesn't open til 7am. Flight at 0945... So will only get 2hours does it really not open til 7. And are there people queuing to get in. There are 4 flights before 10am so can imagine everyone there for the opening time

I thought it opened at 6.30 these days or has it changed back to 7.00 since some of the DL flights moved back to T4?

But not every passenger uses the CH and many of those that do only do so for a short period.

I believe the official opening time is 7am, but if there are a lot of people waiting in the atrium I have seen the shutter raised a little bit earlier.

It's not too bad first off, main bulk of travellers tend to arrive for breakfast around 8am. Hardened V-Flyers are there shaking the shutter well before that though.... it's a race for the first Redhead of the day

It didn't open till 7.15 when we were there last September and there was quite a crowd outside. But when we got in, they dispersed and it seemed quite quiet.

We were on a 0945 flight and while it didn't really offer enough time for treatments, we had plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast.

i can't remember when the time changed, late last year i think, but it was certainly 0630 opening in january, i was there for the 1000 to ATL

got there about 0620, first in the queue, i think 3-4 others joined while i waited, ushered in at 0630 on the dot

went straight to have a quick shower, then bubbly, breakfast, followed by much more bubbly
