I'd booked a reward flight to BGI and managed to get UC on the way out but there was only EC on the way back. Been checking on a daily basis since I booked a week ago and now have a PE seat.....happy bunny! Will of course continue to check just in case an UC seat comes free.
Let us know your dates and we can see how full UC is and if it may be possible to go up another cabin? You're right, it does pay to check regularly.
There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles

Weird as I tried calling flying Club on Thursday and they said there were only 3 free seats in PE and 5 in UC, then today the PE reward popped up. Not that I am complaining, it is better than EC!

Well done on getting the PE seat
Did the seat appear today ?? I'm on the hunt for some Gs but never look at the weekend as I didn't think they would load them out of office hours.

Yes they do, for example if the flight departs on a Sunday then it's always worth checking on a Saturday through the day if you're searching for a last minute upgrade!
Indeed, I've just cleared an upgrade to G on the Saturday before a Sunday flight.
Congrats LucyLu, good luck on the hunt for the G.. hope it pops before the 22nd. If not though, don't forget to try your luck at the airport.
The ways of revenue management are a mystery to us all.... they are clearly not the normal 9-5 worker. I would just advise that it is a bad idea to get them wet or feed them after midnight
