Just off for a bit of shopping then back for breakfast

Shopping? Waste of good CH time. v(

Have a great time in the CH, on the flight and wherever you are headed.

I will be here in about 2 weeks - cannot wait..! How was it..?!

Just out of interest, has the dress code changed - as flying to Florida I was thinking about a pair of shorts and a casual shirt with a pair of boaters. Mrs Armstrong has the most amazing set of comfy (if not a little outlandish for my tastes) yoga pants things and a nice top with Roman style sandals (yes, the eagle eyed amongst you can see my knowledge of ladies fashion is often found wanting)... Will this be ok..?

Hi everyone,

A rather delayed response as I had a great week away in BGI but came back to a bit of a family emergency.

The CH was great. Had massages with the same lady as last Oct but she couldnt get rid of all the knots in the time allowed, but it was still relaxing.

I only managed a couple of glasses of champers and a bacon roll in the CH, but had another glass of bubbly onboard and a few mojitos before dinner.

The food was gret - had a mozzarella and tomato salad, followed by a vegetarian curry (which was a little dry) and a gorgeous choclate torte.....yum.

As a lone female the crew were a bit stand-offish with me at first but once I had sat at the bar and chatted with them and other pax they were better. There were a lot of empty middle seats and 9A was also empty. Crew made use of the empty seats for their rest breaks. The seat behind me was occupied by an engineer who was flying out to resolve an "avionics" problem on a stranded plane out at BGI. Sounded like he was under quite a bit of pressure but I guess he got the issue resolved as the plane wasn't still there when I flew home a week later!!!

Off plane first and straight through immigration as no other pax queuing, then my bag was in the first few off so I was in a taxi and on my way very quickly.
