I would say so!

Except all those nice UC plane-shaped salt shakers have been stolen :D

OK, I think it's time to admit that I have read the kindle version, which was out last year    :-O I was looking for an easy read on my short break to NYC (on VS of course) earlier this year, this book came up, and as a VS fan I was interested to see some behind the scene stories. I have to say though, it was an ok book (not the most well written, but an easy read) with quite some shocking stories :-O , and it certainly made me look at VS CC through a different light...

I'll have to read it now! A friend just sent me the Daily Mail version of the same article. She's quite mean about Premium Economy pax!

Perhaps the book should be called 50 Shades of G VRAY.

@NYLON - I don't think she was trying to portray herself as a super caring cc who loved serving pax... She was more of a fun type...

@stevebrass - that would've been a wicked name.Having not read or seen 50 shades, I am going to guess that this book is much tamer! It may not pass for a pg but certainly not an 18 ;-)

Me too. Got it as a beach read and agree there are some shocking stories that does make you look at crew and think no way do they get up to that!

Well, I've skimmed through the article and I haven't read the book but I suspect the reality is that most cabin crew lead rather different lives to what is being portrayed here.

Yes - it is a bit of fun - perhaps - and freedom of expression and so on but I am uneasy about the picture it paints.

Yes a large pinch of salt. I can imagine what the book entails, I haven't read it but I can say it wouldn't make me look at my ex colleagues in another light as it's probably a world away from what the majority get up to.

I'm also surprised that ,even if she doesn't mind her husband reading it , she obviously doesn't care about her daughter 's feelings !!!!
