VS16 (4th July)

Hi

VS 16 mco-lgw 4th July has a 24hour delay after issue with getting an engine to start then crew timeout.
Passengers now put up in a hotel for the night!!

Were you supposed to be on the flight?

It is disappointing when such things happen but safety first obviously. Hopefully they will get everyone to LGW today.

Frustrating if you are on the plane when you then have to get off again. Luckily when this happened to us the other day on VS90 (89 had to turn back to LGW not far into the outbound flight) so we were able to stay put for 24 hours. Suitable compensation offered and accepted....TR to follow...!

I'm sure €600 per passenger in EU261 cover will soften the blow.
