Regarding the security, all you do is ring your bank and ask them to cancel the digital token in ApplePay; the same way you ring to cancel your cards if you loose your wallet or purse etc. You can also deactivate the digital tokens in ApplePay yourself by logging into your iCloud account.

It's unlikely anyone else would be able to get round your TouchID / finger print scan anyway so it's not like anyone else can even unlock your iPhone 6 / 6 Plus or pay for anything using Apple Pay.

If you think about it, it's actually more secure than the contactless cards in your wallet as what happens if you loose your wallet or purse? Someone finds it and they can potentially use your contactless cards as no PIN or signature is needed (I know contactless is supposed to ask for your PIN randomly, but I've never been asked for it yet using contactless cards?)

Managed to get my cards all added (RBS, Virgin Black and Amex Plat). We're in the states at the moment, first attempt for $27 in Walgreens didn't work - just came back as "declined". Surprisingly my second try worked perfectly, this was for $100 in Bloomingdales so not sure why the first one didn't work.

Overall, as long as it works from now on (and the UK retailers crack on with removing the £20/30 limit) I'll be a big fan. Having it on my watch is great, just so much slicker than fumbling about for cards in my wallet.

I have not much luck so far. Tried to use it on launch day at McDonald's, Apple Pay says 'Done' and transaction listed but McDonald's till says 'No'. Ended up getting the VS card out and chip and pin instead. Mind you, the McDonald's contactless always been temperamental with my VS card.

Morrison's supermarket has contactless self serve tills although Apple Pay is not listed. Tried to use Apple Pay but screwed up the till. Again got the card out and chip and pin.

Apple have set-up an ApplePay feedback page you can fill in if you have any issues using it here

I've used it here with a 100% success rate so far in my local Co-Op, in Boots & in Costa.

One thing I am finding a little annoying is when using my 'proper' AmEx card when you make any purchase now, even online or via chip & pin, my iPhone shows the transaction instantly. Ok yes, I can turn card notifications off but I do feel AmEx is going slightly over-board with their card notifications!!

My Nationwide debit card only shows ApplePay / contactless transactions made using my iPhone and nothing else.
