Does anyone know what time Manchester Airport Check In actually opens for VS075 departing at 11.15? The official line is 3 hours before check in, but as I am travelling with my daughter and baby granddaughter, we have been unable to reserve seats and need to be there as early as possible to try to get a Skycot.
Thanks!

In my experience, with an infant on the ticket you should phone up and reserve the sky-cot and so they'll unofficially reserve those seats for you but you do need to be at check-in to confirm it. Also sky cots are only suitable for up to 6 months old however having the bulkhead seats will make it much easier for you.

Here are two trip reports I wrote when travelling with my 11 week old baby (now 3 and a frequent flier.)

Fuzzy14 thank you very much - that is brilliant information! We have "requested" a sky cot, but have been told that these will be allocated first come first served at check in. I understand that the allocation of bulkheads has something to do with disability issues. It seems incredible that VS cannot allocated seats and facilities like any other venue - if there is not a suitable seat available, you make an informed decision either to accept the seat available, go a different day or not go at all!!
