I'm getting stupidly excited about my first Dreamliner flight in 7 days, 21 hours and 40 minutes*. We're flying on the VS45 in 8&9A.

I've been here long enough to know that VS can and will change aircraft type for a variety of reasons but I'm after reassurance that now we're on the home straight that the chances are minimal. (I mean, just lie to me and tell me it won't change!)

Is the aircraft as great as people suggest? No fatigue, feeling refreshed and all that good stuff?

Any replies telling me that the aircraft is a wonderful experience and the type won't change are appreciated. Other replies, not so.

i had a couple of flights on it last year in UC, i really liked it

the cabin isn't cramped like the 333, engine noise level is low and the air quality is good, all contribute to a more relaxing flight and feeling better on arrival

i was in K, the A seats looked a bit more private as the face the rear of the middle line of seats

if i was to be picky, when the seat is in bed mode the foot end is a bit tighter than necessary, and i wasn't that impressed by the inflight english sparkling wine (especially after the lanson in the CH)

It's a step up from the A333, but in the end it's still a fairly characterless metal tube.

Plus points are that it feels new, if you're in A you get an extra overhead (those above the central seats which open above "the wall") and the fuselage side toilets are far more spacious than usual.

I can't comment on feeling fresher or more relaxed at the end of a flight as I am usually fighting an incipient hangover at that point.
