Hello a newbie here, after years of flying PE , we have booked our first return UC flights to Grenada in May. Now SWMBO likes to do a bit of duty free shopping and browse the shops, we normally would get a bit of breakfast in Frankie and Bennies then do the smellie shopping and sit down for 45 to an hour while waiting for flight to be called. As our flight from Gatwick is 09.00 I thought we would get checked in by 06.00 do the shops then get to the clubhouse for say 06.45 for breakfast and drinks, does this sound reasonable? What time would we need to leave to get to our flight ?
Also in the clubhouse are there announcements or boards giving you gate opening times etc, how would we know when it's time to leave for the gate?
Any other helpful suggestions?

Hi, boarding normally starts about 45-50 minutes before departure and they will announce your flight in the Clubhouse so no need to worry about constantly checking the screens.

Therefore you should have about 90 minutes for breakfast and drinks. They'll happily look after your cabin bags while you shop if you'd rather not lug them around the stores - that way you can head straight for the Clubhouse when it opens around 6.30, settle in and shop at your leisure.

If you and/or SWMBO would like to avail yourself of the Clubhouse spa facilities, book a slot as soon as you arrive as they're limited.
