Morning all, hope you're well. Clubhouse at LHR is not too busy but we did seem to have a cloak of invisibility for a short while, and still waiting for first drinks to arrive & been here about 20 minutes.

Our LHR-DUB-LHR jaunts went very smoothly. Long day yesterday, but stress free with booking an earlier Aer Lingus flight (no offence to Honey Lamb, but they can't seem to stick to their schedule & depart on time). Anyway, all went smooth apart from trying to get an Uber to take us from T5 to the Radisson but we did eventually and got back about 21:45 and slipped straight into the restaurant for a curry.

As I type our drinks have just arrived and we're settling down to relax before taking VS41 a little later,

Have a good day all,

Morning John & TGO(!)

Great to hear the ex-Dub part went well and that you are safely ensconced in the haven of the CH. Let's hope the cloak doesn't reappear. Enjoy lunch and a few glasses of fizz. Safe travels to SFO.

Marsha.

Thanks folks, Spacedog does a margarita count as girly enough?
It's not busy here by any means and we're not hidden away anywhere but we are having to flag people down to order because we're otherwise being ignored. 3rd drink just arrived. I popped out to have a quick browse round the shops. I've come back to talk myself out of the Gucci backpack I've been coveting for months...

Anyway, cheers, bottoms up and all that.

Enjoy the flight (surely you won't get up to much Miss Chief yourselves?) & holiday - hope you enjoy the Grand Canyon on your side-trip to Vegas too!

Hi folks sorry I've not logged on for a couple of days. SFO is great so far. Flight was okay, service a bit 'meh' which is first time I've had to say that. I'll try and do a TR at some point, but in a nutshell, 117 pax & 10 CC, service started well, FSM seemed switched on & came round every pax in UC (only 3 or 4 empty seats), meal service good & then CC seemed to disappear. We had approx 1 hr+ delay so I think that played up with crew rest but not until 90 minutes before landing did anyone come round the cabin & offer drinks/extra food. There were crew passing through cabin at different times, and some drinks or snacks served in response to requests. But seriously, you had to press the call button & ask. I ordered a burger from extra bites menu & it took 40 minutes to arrive.

They actively ignored the bar - I tried twice to get service at the bar & only got served once & noticed a couple of others tried too. When I went up none of them had drinks & eventually went back to their seats.

Flight was otherwise okay.

Hi gfonk, no I gave in at the end, 20% off high street & I couldn't argue with that! So I now have 3 day bags with me on this trip. We're just waiting to board our LAS flights. TTFN.
