PE credit card upgrade

Quick question, i've used my 2 c/c upgrades for this year but i'm going to book some more flights in the next couple of weeks. They are miles bookings. My lovely SIL on the other hand has earned her first c/c upgrade but won't be able to use it in the next year. Can I book my economy tickets with miles and then have her ring in to use the PE upgrade on our flights (seat availability withstanding)? She won't be travelling with us, and the original booking won't be using her miles.

Yes, you can use miles from one account and PE reward from another account (even though sometimes they say it's not possible, it definitely is!). It would be easiest to do all at the same time, so I would get your sister to call and make you an authorised user on her account and then you'll be able to do it in just one call to VS when you come to book.
