Good Morning - I don't post often here but thought I would give a quick wave from the LHR Clubhouse - very busy this morning!

After a fairly chaotic arrival at airport - DTCI barriers were broken - we were told to drive around to main entrance and be met by a Virgin Rep - no one was waiting!! Upper Class Check In was chaos and the staff ruder than I have ever known them - thankfully we have had a warm welcome into Clubhouse as usual - although wanted to use Spa Pool but its broken AGAIN! Strangely there are a lot of Cabin Crew serving in the Clubhouse today - they said they had been drafted in to support for the day - is this normal?

Hoping for a good crew on the flight to Shanghai later today!

Usually hear nothing but good reviews of the DTCI so a great pity you missed out on that treat to start your trip - I guess that is responsible for the ensuing chaos at 'regular' UC checkin as they had far more passengers to deal with 'down there' but I'm very disappointed you found them being rude to you (VS staff are usually friendly, helpful and polite at both LGW and LHR even when under pressure ..... and even in E / PE checkin, so for UC this is really a bad result).

Thankfully the CH has lifted your spirits and I hope you get one of the best flight crews (like I just had on LGW-MBJ) to make up for the checkin disappointments - have a great trip!
