Hi James,

We booked our recent ex EU Upper trip last September. BRU - LHR with BA - LGW-MCO with Virgin - MCO - MAN with Virgin, our last leg MAN - BRU with Brussels airlines. We booked it, all confirmed and ticketed. Around a week later I got a call from Expedia saying there had been an error and Virgin no longer have an agreement with Brussels airlines and that I needed to change my flights to BA for the whole itinerary. Following over 1 hour on the phone with them trying to offer me different flight connections, non of them with Virgin, I politely pointed out to them that the booking has been ticketed and confirmed and if I wanted to change anything they would not allow it. In the end they said I could keep the original itinerary, but they pointed out that it has cost Expedia over £700 per person more but they would stand the cost as it was their error. I wonder how many other people this has affected?
