Here at long last, we travelled down last night to avoid the rain forecast for today and being everyone back to work after the bank holiday.
I also got an incredible deal through Topcashback with Holiday extras with their Mystery Hotel for 15 nights parking, evening meal and breakfast at the Park Inn for £150 all in.
We got upgraded to a superior room at check inn lovely lots of space and power points all over plus that upgraded our meal from the Buffett to the set menu which we were so pleased as I literally could not have eaten anything from the choice available. We had a fish and chips to die for so light and fluffy, and caramel cheesecake.
All checked-in now, we had a bit of a fright as the hotel departures board said a two hour delay but on arriving it's all on time.
Quite impressed with the lounge all very quiet and very nice selection of food, which after a hearty breakfast am trying not to eat but it all looks tempting, obviously not as good as Virgins but not too shabby . Looking forward to the seats and suite. Had one thing when we arrived at check in we asked was it ok for the Denver flight and the lady said join the queue over there and hubby said is that first class , the look was to die for. Linda
