Another loyalty programme? Another Virgin Red? What the hell

I just hope it doesn't knock out the current loyalty programmes. I'm currently trying to requalify for Virgin trains Traveller...

I've had this app for some time and do the daily "This and That" challenges - hopefully I'll get enough points to enter the competition for 75k miles this month They had a "Reverse Auction" for 100k miles a few months ago but I didn't win that

I think it's more of an info gathering tool rather than a loyalty programme but I may be wrong ....

i've had virgin red for ages and I've had loads of things from them, not to mention the unlimited BOGOF nero coffee. I've had wine and ice cream too. I've just done my reverse auction for the miles but I've never won one.

Yes, it's just an app to promote brand awareness and gather data on users. You earn points by doing daily quizzes and entering some competitions. I haven't made use of any of their offers, but I have won a free tub of ice cream. Would prefer the 75,000 air miles ;)

Yes, also been using it for a while here too. Not won anything yet but have just entered the reverse Auction for the 75,000 miles.

As already mentioned you get points for entering competitions etc and also sharing on social media.

Some of the Virgin brands (VS, Virgin Media & Virgin Trains; though not Virgin Trains East Coast) let your verify your account details and thus earn you extra points each month for just been a verified Virgin customer.

For VS for example, it asks you for you FC number, Virgin Media asks you for your account details and Virgin trains asks the same but do require at least one train fare purchase to be verified.

The more points you earn, the quicker you get to open the vaults to enter more competitions and enter the reverse auctions etc.

Is anyone playing the game to win the trip to Necker Island and other prizes. It is rather addictive. If anyone spots any codes on their travels I'd be very grateful.
