Virgin Holidays Gold Status 10% Off

Hi

I notice that as a Flying Club Gold member I'm entitled to 10% off Virgin Holiday Bookings.

Does anyone know if this extends to Car Hire Only Bookings made with Virgin Holidays?

Unfortunately I don't believe so. From the T&Cs (found here):

The discount and earned miles apply to package holidays only (the booking must include a flight from the UK and accommodation booked through Virgin Holidays Ltd.). Fly-drive (flight and car hire only) bookings are not eligible for the discount or mileage offers.

They only offer the discount on in-store and over-the-phone bookings as well!
