Sitting some of the group in the bubble

Hi - we've a party of 5 travelling on a 747 (MCO-MAN) and managed to grab 2 PE seats upstairs and 3 downstairs. I've always wanted to try the bubble, and looks like not many years left for 747s, but then I wondered whether someone being 'helpful' might move the 2 seats downstairs to sit us together? And if so, is it worth it (or possible) to get VA to put a note on the booking?

IMHO, not a chance as you say coveted seats

And I for one would be displeased if moved if not for a valid seat out of use reason

I've found (in two instances) that a lot of PE bubble seats get released between 24-48 hours before the flight. Virgin Holidays have a bunch reserved and presumably get made available closer to departure

Depends on loading, the upper deck can be closed off to release crew to the main cabin.

Thanks everyone. The plane is fully booked (give or take one seat, as it's into summer holiday season) for the date, so hopefully they won't close out the bubble and move me!

I've found more seats to open up 48 hours before flight so keep checking regularly!
