Has anyone used the Curve or Travelex Supercard in the USA recently?
I had the old trial version of the Supercard last year and it worked a treat and saved me loads of money.

We're currently in the US and I'm having lots of transactions declined on both cards. I've checked with MBNA (my VS black visa is linked to these cards) and there is no problem that end.

Shame as both cards seem to be a good way of earning miles without FX fees.
Would be interested if anyone has had the same issues?

cant help sorry - but I had an issue with the trial & my card was declined twice.
I was told that the transaction timed out rather than my card being declined.
I paid using another card.
When I checked supercard app it showed both transactions (they tried twice).
No money was taken from my linked card though, as the time happened between supercard & my V Black.

I'm using the new Supercard after enjoying the trial version earlier this year.

Not been to USA yet (going in 2 weeks) but had a few declined transactions in Turkey but all OK in Zurich.

IIRC Curve and Supercard are now run by the same company (Wirecard) so it's obviously their end that's at fault.

It's nowhere near a perfect product and it's a shame there are still the declined transaction issues.
I will still use it but always take a secondary CC and debit card as backup.

I've seen a few reports of similar issues as i've also got the new Supercard. I've just got a Mondo card also issued by Wirecard, though I always make sure I have a few backup options when I go abroad.
