Im arriving on the VS027 on a busy Monday morning and am thinking of trying it, if it will get me through quicker.

I haven't used it so cannot comment.

But can I just moan they should not be allowed to charge for this type of service and I would rather they fixed the crowding problems they have rather than charging for something that should just work and work well.

Agreed. I wouldn't pay, especially since the new e-gates are much more efficient than the old ones and have sped things up.

The problem with Fast Track is that a single lane is used by everyone who pays, irrespective of nationality. All it takes is one person with a visa issue and the whole thing grinds to a halt. Even if the UK/EU/EEA queue looks long, it's guaranteed to move pretty quickly.
