Payment Planet Long Beach

I made a credit card duty free purchase on Monday VS111 flight. I'm still in NYC & I've just had a text from MBNA querying a payment of the same value as the duty free purchase to Payment Planet Long Beach. Until I sort this MBNA say I may have difficulty using the card. Do anyone know if they process Virgin inflight purchases?

I don't know for sure but it looks legit.
Planet Payment are headquartered in Long Beach and do facilitate payment from a number of airlines

VS are not on the list but that was some time ago

I'm surprised MBNA aren't on top of this.
Also, I assume there is not a second transaction for the same amount. That would cause alarm bells.

Dubai, planet payment was on my cc statement

Yes, Our duty free pre-order payment was taken by the Miami based company.

Thanks for your help. I've now contacted MBNA & confirmed the transaction is legit.
