hi all,
flying DUB-LGW-MCO UC ON VS027 tomorrow, can i do online check in? aer lingus not allowing online and was wondering if i can check in for LGW-MCO? saying on website about luggage and having to go to bag drop with labels?
Any advice would be appreciated. many thanks

Yes, nothing stopping you checking in online for the VS part of your flight using the VS website or app. Even if you check-in online, you can still visit the standard check-in desk at the airport to drop your bags where they will be tagged for you or use the transfer desks at LGW.

Not sure why you cannot check-in for your Aer Lingus (EI) flight though? Many European EI flights now actually let you check-in online 30 days in advance (my MAN>DUB EI flight let me do that).

I think it's to do with interlining agreements - although I stand to be corrected on that. While I have not been able to do OLCI for a ORK-LHR flight with an onward journey, bags have always been interlined at check-in at the airport.

Many European EI flights now actually let you check-in online 30 days in advance (my MAN>DUB EI flight let me do that).

They all do provided that you have selected and paid for your seat. Otherwise it's OLCI at T-30 hours
