Unless someone's found a way round it, load checks are no longer possible as VS now use the Delta reservations system and Delta don't release their load data.

I think it was off last weekend because their booking system was down for the changeover - expedia wouldn't pick up any VS flights at all then

You were correct that DL did, for a couple of years, ban expert flyer from displaying their inventory but that changed in June but it does not include upgrade inventory and the search much be specifically for DL flights

THank you so much for the prompt response :D So if I have it right VS 109 has still some availability in economy and VS76 (yes it is the flight home  ) has a lot of availability? Just wondering whether to book extra leg room seats for the return journey, but as there is only two of us and the double seats at the back are already taken, was wondering if we might be lucky and get a 3 or 4 in the middle ;-)

Thanks again for the replies

Percentage means percentage of flights on time with the number of mins late after it

ie 84% / 12m = 84% of flights on time with an average delay of 12 mins - nothing to worry about

I'd say the outbound will be full. Y5 means they're only willing to sell 5 more seats in economy, but given they overbook the chances are it's full already.

The return, though, looks wide open. You may well be lucky and get a whole row, but don't count on it.

Thanks again for the speedy reply!! On the return flight would you advise us checking in online or waiting til the airport?
and hope we get a spare seat then?? As there are only two of us travelling we try and get the two seats together at the back
but on the return they are not available. Does that necessarily mean they are booked or just not available to book at the moment??

Thanks again

Maureen
