I have previously received advanced notification of changes to flight times, my contact details are correct but I have not received any information that my upcoming flight times have changed. Do I need to check somewhere else that my details are entered or are VA no longer providing text/email notifications?

Many thanks :D

I think much depends on how Virgin send the info. I got 2 flight time changes prior to departure on my recent Cuba trip, one of them 4 months before departure. The return light was re-timed back 40 minutes and Virgin sent a text message to me last Thursday in advance of the flight home on last Saturday night. I got the text lunchtime on Sunday after I had been home for an hour......

Previously I've mostly been informed of flight changes. However, this recent set of changes have happened without notification, and don't even follow normal logic.

They retimed my flight to Boston to be 4 hours later, so they automatically rebooked me to the day BEFORE. Luckily mention on here about that meant I could go in and see this, then phone them.

I've got an app called tripcase on my android phone (there's a different one on iphone), which is supposed to track changes to your itinerary. I struggled to get anything to work apart from forwarding my confirmation email to their email address (the booking code never seemed to be accepted). Then when it could have been useful, it just didn't tell me my qatar flight had moved to be an hour later. It just updated it.

It does give me details such as delays though. Might be useful. I originally installed it because BA have a perchance of chucking you out of your chosen seat without telling you...
