Hi, hope you're all well.

Hubbie and I are returning from MIA on VS6 next month. I currently have 2G and 2K bagged. We haven't flown UC on the A330. Is this seat choice ok or should we choose seats next to each other. 1K is currently available so I could switch to 1K and 2K.

Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

I'd say both of those options are fine.

The only thing to be aware of, is 1G is the bassinet seat, in case that bothers you.

I prefer the A seats towards the rear as that way you can be off first. G and K seats are often the last passengers off for UC.

I have just flown a re-config'd 330 for the 1st time in UC (I'm MAN based, so obviously had to wait a while...). A couple of things I noted:
- The sides of the pods/suites are much lower than the previous 'dream suite'. You can easily see the head of the person in front. So as a couple, being sat infront/behind each other is no longer as unsociable as it was. Actually, as a single traveller, I think I preferred the higher sides for a better feeling of privacy, but I think I'm in the minority here.
- I'm pretty sure the G and K seats are not aligned, i.e. 1K is not directly opposite 1G, they seem offset by 1 to me. So 2G looks opposite 1k, 3G opposite2K etc etc. I took note of this ahead because we are taking our little one in UC on a re-config'd 330 very soon. So bare this in mind if you want to be across the aisle from each other
