We are flying UC to Dubai next March (just before route ends). I booked 1A and 2A as we've loved these seats previously, but just realised our previous flights were on the dreamliner . I note that on the A330-300 there are toilets at the front left. Wondering whether we should move further back to avoid PAX queuing adjacent to our seats? We prefer being side by side on the side that faces the wall.

You are correct, 333 and 332's have a single toilet up at the front, outside the cockpit.

However, they're rarely used by passengers in my experience - mostly crew. Sometimes you get people venturing forward, but most of the time people default to walking back towards the bar.

Until a few months ago, I didn't even know there was a toilet there on the 333, despite it being one of my most common aircraft flown in the fleet.

So honestly, I wouldn't worry. I'd happily stay in 1&2A.

Agreed. The toilet is nowhere near any seats, there’s a large galley in between.

And CommanderB is right, the crew often don’t let passengers use that toilet as they use the galley as their break area in the absence of a proper crew rest on the 330.

I had 1A coming back from DXB on Tuesday and although I did spend most of the time at the bar, I didnt observe anyone using that Lav at the front at all.

The good thing with 1A is that there's in effect extra space to spread your stuff out over the space to the left of the seat that says "No Storage" but I think they mean during taxi/take off & landing.
