My opinion (for what it's worth)
- Prefer sitting behind each other, ideally in the A side, followed by K and then G if that's all that's left. This is because we feel you're better off choosing the best seat for yourself as if you were on your own
- The lower sides to the seats now the A330s have be re-config'd means sitting behind each other is better than it was
- Sitting opposite gives you a better view of your travelling companion, but you have to talk across the aisle
- Also be aware that if you want to sit opposite each other that the seats are not aligned. 1K will face 2G, 2K will face 3G etc etc
Actually my preferred seat now is 10A
- Bit of extra space to your right as its the last seat
- Nobody behind you to give you that sort of weird I'm being watched over my shoulder feeling I sometimes get (especially if it's someone tall behind)
- The new position of the bar means I don't think any seat is in real danger of disruption unless there's a real party going on
- 1st off
Thank you for the reply and taking the time, sorry my mistake it is the A340 i am flying on - I did do a search too. Originally i was sat opposite but i have changed these to 10A and 11A - hope this is a good move?
