Hey

I posted in another thread about next years secured trip to Orlando and have a further question for the experienced people here.

We’re booked on ‘I’ fare codes (peasant aren’t I) and having checked the guide on this site I see this ‘entitles’ me to a car to/from the airport. VHols say that isn’t the case

Is it a case that the guide here is out of date or are VHols mistaken? I ask because the service would be quite handy for us given we’re going out of LHR.

Also if we were ‘entitled’ to it...given our booking is for 8 adults, 4 children (split between 2 different VS booking references) with one booking residing in Reading, the other in Oxford can we get cars and if so do Virgin’s partners have vehicles capable of carrying our load? We used Tristar last year to get to LHR for a JFK UC booking and we used a Viano then but was wondering if on a VS booking they’d offer such a car?

Thanks

Shane

Sadly VH are correct on this - chauffeur transfers were removed from 'I' class fares earlier in the year and are for J, C and D only now. I'm not sure where the fare codes guide on this site is these days but there's a chance it's a little antiquated.

In this case it's best to refer to the VS website - link here (scroll down to "Who is eligible...").

Simply is correct, no CDC anymore on an I fare, only J, C and D.

You do still get 200 TPs per one-way flight (let us pray this doesn't get eroded away) and 200% base miles flown on an I fare.
