Does VS Au count for anything in AF as yet?

Hi all, got some long haul AF flights coming up CDG to West Africa, does my Au card count for anything as yet?
I know the JV has not solidified as yet, but, worth asking.

Like... priority line at check in, mabes?
Lounge I very much doubt... (traveling Economy, sadly)

In November I tried the gate priority line, with Au card in hand, and got away with it, think that was a result of gate staff's uncertainty as much as anything though. Be good to know if that was a 'right' or not.

Nothing, as yet - not even recognised.

I hope sometime in the future it will count a bit. Maybe we'll be 2nd class Gold, 12karat or something?!

Recognition will depend on the deal VS does with KL/AF as it will be (like the DL partnership) outside of Sky Team rules

We shouldn't have much longer to wait now for the decision as the provisional deadline for the EU competition commission report for this JV is due 12/02/2019 (it's case # M.8964 if you want to have a look, anyone can look up merger competition reports via the European Commission competition website).
