How fast six weeks seems to have flown by.
The drive from Hilton Head, South Carolina to Atlanta was a nightmare.
Car showed low tire pressure on rear passenger side. I pulled over and tried to put air in but it wouldn't take and and still showed low. A second stop and air went in but showed a fault. Well the rear tyre was still low but the front had gone up to 55lbs. So the tyres were not showing correct on the dash. Third stop and I put air in the front and let some out of the back and all was fine.
Thirty mile short of Atlanta we hit a five mile traffic log jam on the I75 We got through in about 45 mins and there seemed to be no reason.
Once at Atlanta handed the car back, caught the bus to the International and went straight up to the Virgiin desk.
Then sailed through security and into the lounge.
Not much on offer but it will do. It's just nice to be here and put the trauma of the drive behind us.

have a good flight back, with all tyres at correct pressure :)

for me, the best thing about the ATL lounge was getting a newspaper and the terrace for some fresh air, wind direction permitting

Hope you had a happy time in the Sky Lounge and a great flight home.

I had a similar tyre pressure indicator issue on my car once. In the end the resolution was some form of re-set of the system. Frustrating though when the physical world tells you one thing and the electronic another.

What added to the frustration was a $1.75 charge for air each time! But all sorted in the end and back home now.
