Is this the end of the reward seat / up grade with miles

Ok I have been booking upgrades with miles for 10 years and after 3 very frustrating calls to virgin I really think this is the end. Delta are not releasing the seats to virgin and therefore they are is no availability even when I’m flexible by 2 weeks flexible via any airport.... and the most frustrating thing it’s showing a ability of rewards seats on line but apparently that’s now not live.....
Is this happening to anyone else?

You are panicking needlessly.

You shouldn't take your individual difficulty in finding a way to spend your miles and extrapolate it to mean that redeeming miles for flights or upgrades is ending.

Finding reward seats has always been a bit of a dark art but it's nothing to do with Delta. There's been mention elsewhere on this site about using rewardflightfinder.com

It might help, saves you from ringing Virgin all the time!

In short answer to your title question... no.

This post question does appear to be a tad alarmist ; to clarify, you can't find the dates and route that you are looking for with a mileage redemption over a 2 week period?

Moving on, and hopefully pushing questions to allow the members of this site to help you out, which route/destination are you attempting to find reward flights on? And when?
