Just looking at my seats for the 4000th time this month to get excited / see how many people are on the flight and noted that both my flights have changed to the 787-9.

Flights are in July (VS155 and VS6).

Are these likely to be newer planes or older?

All 17 of the VS B789's are now also back in service after their recent RR engine issues.

..and I’m on G-BVOW right now; somewhere over northern Canada..

And she’s clean and smart and quiet.
My upper seat is immaculate. Not a scratch, not a crumb.
And the Wi-Fi is clearly working well (with thanks to VS credit card benefit of Boingo signup)

VS6 got changed did it?

That’s Miami > LHR right? I wonder if that trend will continue to October - my booking currently shows the A333.

Yup, LHR > LAS on the way out, Miami > LHR on the way back.

I will be doing reports on both legs, so you'll be able to see what it looks like if the trend does come your way!

Our return VS6 in mid June is now a 789, and our WTP seats have moved from near the front to the last row (25a/c); are there toilets behind us? The seat map seems to show the doors there, but also the Y bassinets...

I think you might be getting your airlines mixed up...!

Just checking my flight details (again!) and noticed that our return flight VS6 from Miami to LHR has changed back to the 787-9. This was the original flight carrier when booked last year. We chose our seats then. Later in the year, the flight schedule changed to the A330-300 - no notification or that the timings had changed! Ok, we chose our seats again and thought that was it, but no, 6 days before our flight this Saturday, I checked again to find that the return flight which is in June, is now the 787-9 and my seat is now in row A and my husband in row K!!! I appreciate that flights are subject to change but they could at least inform us. I have managed to change our seats so we are both in A, but do we really need to check the details everyday (rant over)!

Agreed, a little notification email would be perfect.

Luckily for me, our plane change had the same seat config, so no seat changes, but can see why this would be frustrating if you hadn't checked!

Although, I am sure a little email after the flight would've got some nice compensation!

Our flight to Miami (VS5) on the 22nd October has now been changed to the 789 from the A330

Realise it can change but seems the change identified above is being extended through to October. Our inbound 6th Nov is still listed as the A330.
