Airport Upgrade Costs

Hey

Does anyone know if there is a fixed fee for airport upgrades if available?

Have a flight coming up in Premium and there are a number of seats available still in Upper. The Live Chat agent told me the only way to upgrade is at the airport but couldn't give a price.

Anyone know if its fixed?

No fixed fee, I upgraded in March from P/E to Upper when checking in via the app and it offered me a price of around £600 (one way) I was on a golden ticket (£1 plus taxes) so was more than happy to pay that.

This doesn't sound right - did you buy your ticket direct from VS?

We don't have enough information really. If he is on a K ticket for example, upgrading with cash on the day is really the only way.

Apologies should of said I bought from a travel agent so can’t upgrade direct with Virgin and travel agents quotes are a joke as they include a change fee of £200+
