If I remember correctly it was possible to combine miles between two people to accrue the requisite number of miles needed to book you both in to reward seats on the same flight. Is this still the case?

i.e. If I have 105,000 miles and my partner 85,000 miles, can we book two seats with a Rewards cost of 190,000 miles?

Thanks.

you can't combine them in that way as you need to be able to pay for an entire sector/leg from one account.

So assuming each leg is 47,500 miles you would be able to buy an entire flight (2 legs of 47,500 each) from your account but your partner would only be able to buy one sector.

You could call VS and see ig an agent will do it your way but I think it's unlikely (but worth a try) otherwise look at the costs of your partner buying k miles or you transferring / gifting the miles (IIRC the costs of each option is different)

I think a Virgin Money credit card application is in order :)
