Hi,

Please excuse this rather geeky enquiry, but I hope someone on here may know the answer given how heavily used these gates are by Virgin Atlantic!

As you may know, many/most Virgin Atlantic flights from Heathrow Terminal 3 leave from Pier 7 (Gates 13-21).

This is a rather unusual pier in that arriving and departing passengers are separated from each other by glass screens (rather than on different levels), and the two flows cross over one another by staff opening and closing doors. I arrived into Gate 19 recently and saw this in action.

I noticed these screens are erected from Gate 16 through 21, but I couldn't see them on the "other" side of the corridor - i.e. for gates 13-15 (the ones you turn left at the end of the departures corridor to reach!).

I've added a little diagram. I just wondered if anyone could satisfy my curiosity as to how arriving passengers into gates 13/15 reach the arrivals corridor?

Thanks!
