;-)

Is it just me or do any other v-flyer members think that this forum has become a plane-spotting information page recently! know there’s not a lot else going on but day after day there is an updated post on where a particular aircraft is based, it’s maintenance or what it’s future status might or might not be.
I’m so looking forward to reading about realistic trip plans, reports and generally sharing/discussing info about passenger travelling ... just like we did in the old days :D

Am leaning to that way of thinking too, Hev60. Have noticed recently that some posts are becoming increasingly 'techie'. Each to their own I suppose, but just not my cup of tea.

+1 to the above.

I get that some people may be interested in these kind of posts but all the different threads started by one or two members seem to be taking over the forum at the moment.

A lot of these subjects could be posted into one thread.

G-VBEL (VS862P operated this morning) has swapped places with G-VWOO (VS863P operated yesterday) at Manchester to operate the next 4 MAN-ISB rotations.

G-VFAN is positioning to Victorville VCV as VS819P. Does anyone know why this is?

According to thevssource.com it is for structural maintenance. Any clues that that means?

I’m not sure what that means or where the vssource gets the information from.

The only reason I can think of why this would be true would be is G-VFAN suffered a very hard landing, but I do doubt that this would be the case.

Looks like the 789s have got another new cargo route:
G-VDIA is operating a new flight VS527X from Heathrow to Frankfurt.

She flew there yesterday too. I think it could be a new cargo route.

It was the McLaren F1 team’s charter.

Unsure why they didn’t use their regular charter out of Farnborough. I’d hazard a guess that this is a proper fly away event unlike the European legs.

G-VWHO has just been diverted to Dublin. The reason for this is currently unknown, however, it probably won’t be to pick up cargo given that this is a passenger flight to Heathrow from Montego Bay (VS166).
