G-VMIK will be retired today flying from LHR-NOC in Ireland as VS815P. She will depart LHR at 1pm. The aircraft will be scrapped at NOC.

There should be 4 A339s being delivered next year then it will be one in one out with the final 10 and the A333s. The rest of the A333s should be back in service soon but they will all be getting maintenance at Dresden at some point in the near future.
The flights will be updated soon. They were all mixed up when it was announced that the 747s were going.

I guess these will be retired in the coming months?

They won’t be staying. I believe they will be both going for scrap but I don’t know which airport but they will probably go to LHR first.

I suspect VS won't be letting aircraft go off-lease if they didn't think they would be able to cover their planned schedule without them.

That said, given the -200's are non-standard in a lot of ways (different engine, different cabin config, seats, IFE, age of the aircraft), I'm not surprised the opportunities are being taken to get rid of them.

What does everyone think the fate of G-VLNM and G-VWND will be given that the borders are reopening in November?

Our MAN MCO for December has this weekend changed from a330-200 to a330-300, so I assume the -200 are off to become tin cans a little sooner.

Also LHR MCO have switched to a330-300 from the a350.
