My husband and I have a flying club each and both of us have enough points for a 1 way upper class flight (which is all we need to do).
The weekend I want to book the tickets for is the week before Easter and already the reward seats are disappearing fast.
I would like some advice on the best way to approach this.
1. Leave the points in the individual accounts and ring up to book them. My concern doing it this way is, by the time all the discussion and security has been done on the phone, the flights could have gone.
2. Transfer his points to my account and buy the 2 seats online, which could be quicker.
However, is option 2 possible? I know I can transfer the points, but can I use my account to buy 2 seats, even if one is not in my name?
