Cancellations

Hi

Does anyone know why there are several VS cancellations each day. 8,46 and 301 inbound and 19 and 449 outbound. Are they that short of Dreamliners? Or is it crew, or load factors?

I think it's down to fleet issues. VS are currently still down 1 X B789 as G-VDIA is still out of service since the wing-clip incident at LHR in early April (as is BA's A350 G-XWBC).

The latest A339 delivery (G-VSRB) is also delayed as that was supposed to go into service in May but is still having test flights at Airbus.

VS are working their fleet hard at the minute so there's very little wiggle room when things do go tech.
