Yes, the plane! I don't know if anyone has done this before, but I'm guessing they probably have :-D I'm currently on VS41 LHR-SFO and despite being an hour late off (due to VS156 coming in late from Las Vegas) things are going pretty well, good service, and a flight time of 10 hours. Also enjoyed an epic hour out on the Clubhouse garden terrace in 27C heat.. amazing compared to 18C expected in SF!

Not got much to add but have posted a quick picture on my Twitter as I couldn't get the gallery on V-Flyer itself to work. Tweet is at https://x.com/cooperx86/status/1805334086837584163 .. we're taking a very northerly track but all the other west coast flights have been doing the same this week. At this rate we'll fly west of Hudson Bay entirely.

Hope everyone's doing well and fingers crossed the rest of this trip is a smooth one!

Oh, the wifi is OK. Nothing to write home about, but still a miracle really. Definitely not viable for video streaming on the 789, but it doesn't claim to be either. Perfectly serviceable for general Web use though and I've sent a few pictures without major problems.

Thanks! It's been quite a fun flight. I was caught out by the cabin being entirely darkened as I usually get the earlier LHR-SFO flight, so I ended up hanging out in the front galley with the first officer for ten minutes chatting about random stuff as I tried to stay exposed to daylight as I never sleep on outbounds.

Indeed, it's quite intriguing how each flight can offer a unique experience, even on a familiar route. Engaging in conversation with the first officer must have added a remarkable dimension to the journey.
