VS129 - The last two Friday's flights

I'm booked on the VS129 next Friday from Heathrow to Tampa.

Being the geek I am, I have been watching this specific flight over the last two weeks and see last Friday it was diverted to Miami and todays 2:30pm is showing as cancelled.

Anyone know what is going on and should I be worried?

The diversions will have been because of the storms. The heat is horrendous here at the moment and there have been spectacular storms most of the late afternoons. When we arrived last week we were lucky to land but got stuck on the tarmac for half an hour before they could plug us in.

The storm yesterday will have dampened a few fireworks that’s for sure.
