Virgin are now claiming July 21st was the IT issue not pilot sickness so are refusing compensation. As the 23rd July link with Delta was IT there is no compensation. They also say they won't pay for 3 days missed holiday, just for the downgrade we took to fly on 24th. Truly awful service. Had we known there wouldn't be compensation for the cancelled flight we would have changed our plans completely.
NO airline will compensate for lost holiday time.
