When are you looking to travel?
VS usually opens up flights for booking 331 days before. However, as James says, you can book them further in advance if part of a Virgin Holidays package.
The only caveat is that VS may change their schedule or even drop a route. If that happens, then if booked through a package Virgin Holidays will put you on an alternative flight instead, albeit not necessarily from EDI or VS for that matter, or even on the same day. That’s happened to us twice for varying reasons, but you don’t have to necessarily accept what they give you first time round and a friendly phone call might yield a more satisfactory, alternative outcome.
