Hello from the LHR Clubhouse

On my way to Fort Lauderdale (via JFK; everything crossed here that the weather doesn’t cause issues).

The Upper Class Wing was packed this morning and pretty slow to check-in. A group of pax checking in that seemed to consume all available resources.

My bag got a ‘random’ secondary check going through security. Basically just a swab test and nothing more.

Service in the Clubhouse is pretty good so far. Sat in my usual spot in the loft. Some of the seating looks new which I guess is part of the ongoing Clubhouse refurbishment.

Good morning, have a great flight to NYC and FLL. I’ll miss the clubhouse in 13 days as flying from MAN-MCO. Glad to hear of some nice refurbs happening in the clubhouse.
