After the revelation (to me :-D ) that bookings can be made online and the voucher retrospectively added, I was wondering if my wife is the lead booker can I then use my voucher for the trip? My wife currently has more points than me, so to save the transfer fee she could book then apply my voucher. Or are we better off just spending the £10 to send the points to my account and save hassle? I am also verified on her account, and she is part of my household account if that makes any difference

re this, we have vouchers expiring in March and new ones issued in March but we want to book points tickets now (we have a lot of points). Can we replace the points we used post booking with the new vouchers?

Please can I ask what you mean by 'retrospectively adding' the voucher? Do you mean to upgrade from what you have booked, or to replace points that you have used on your booking? I was told by a FC person that if you retrospectively add the voucher in the second scenario that you won't be refunded the points used? I think it is because they apply them slightly differently now by adding the actual number of points required for what you want to do to your account and then deducting them again - very odd but that's what they are doing!

Yes re the respective add query- I was told the same thing - trying to figure out if we can do
So booking points and hoping to be reimbursed once voucher updated- hopefully as companion ticket or is it better to book with points now and take a chance on reward seats with voucher upgrade later?
Ideally want PE out and UC back

I've just done a similar thing an hour ago : I booked a flight for my Son, using my points. Then I got the upgrade voucher..Called up the lovely VS Silver LIne and within minutes, the voucher (worth 150000) points was used and the points refunded back to my Flying Club Acccount.
