New Lounge MAN

Looks like VS are going to start using The Executive lounge at MAN when it opens ;

Virgin Atlantic is pleased to announce a partnership with The Executive, a brand-new premium lounge in Manchester T2 opening in July 2026. Offering Upper Class customers and Flying Club Gold members access to an elevated pre-flight experience, the new partnership reinforces the airline’s enduring presence in Manchester, from its airport operation to Virgin Atlantic Holidays retail locations across the city.

The Executive lounge opens 17th June, however, bear in mind though that it will only initially be offering a buffet service for food as the full table service doesn't open until Autumn 2026, from the website:

As The Executive by Escape Lounges evolves, we look forward to introducing The Boll, an indulgent Seated Dining offering in a refined setting. In The Boll you'll be able to enjoy freshly prepared seasonal dishes from a carefully curated menu.

Our Seated Dining service will be available to pre-book in late summer, for travel from autumn 2026.

As per the current 1903 lounge, the Executive lounge will still offer paid pre-booked entry options, from £63.99 per person. Once open, The Boll is not included in that price and will cost extra for paid enter passengers.

I presume airline invited passengers will get everything included.

The current 1903 lounge will close and be merged into the existing Escape lounge from 17th June.

It look very promising and clearly a step up from the previous lounge offerings at MAN compared to the current 1903 lounge and the previous now closed Escape lounge. Looking at the artist impression pics, it looks to have quite a similar vibe to Delta One lounges so I'm interested to try this new lounge out (once it fully opens).
