Any particular stations or cards needed?

It's the Virgin Atlantic Amex card - and the letter states any supermarket/petrol station...

NB:

Excludes: Marks & Spencer, Farmfoods, Spar
Excludes: Online Shopping

That'll be a result then; drive from Plymouth to Glasgow in July - how much fuel will that use??

Unfortunately Lidl don't take credit cards :(!

Got mine yesterday. :) ....I have the black card so it's obviously not restricted to the card colour, mind you I also got the £140 annual card fee on the account as well..... v(
Maybe it will still apply to you as there doesn' seem to be any mention of preference to card type on the letter ;)

I got my letter Saturday and like everyone else's says any Major supermarket and petrol station, excluding those already mentioned by NH in the small print on the back of the letter.

Applies to all VA Amex cards issued by MBNA. Happy spending folks y)

+1, hopefully might hear something next week. Will definitely like to take advantage and switch my spend from the Plat to the VS AX. Spend about £400/month on fuel and £200/month on groceries so will be a nice stack of extra miles.

Just as a follow up, I've received a nice hefty 'bonus miles' figure this month which could only have been derived by taking into account Ocado spend meaning that, although these are on-line purchases which are supposedly excluded, they appear to have been included :)

What I can't quite fathom though is exactly how they get the final figure for bonus miles? OK I'm happy with my lot but surely it should simply be a case of double miles on qualifying spend - this being 'supermarkets and petrol'. I have no petrol at all and when I tot up all the Ocados, the one Tesco and two Waitrose shops it doesn't quite tally - falls short by around £100.

Not a big deal, just wondered if anyone else can actually verify their bonus miles as being spot on with expectation?

Thanks
James

My bonus miles worked out exactly. It was only 300 bonus miles as my billing date is the 9th of each month, so only had 9 days worth of shopping/petrol, but it is 100% spot on with what we spent at qualifying places, nothing online.

I wonder if this is a targetted offer. I made two petrol transactions on my white VS AX:

01/06/2011 03/06/2011 SHELL ST PETERS £35.07
04/06/2011 07/06/2011 SHELL ST PETERS £35.00

and my billing date is 13th of the month and no bonus miles. :(
