Result for her yes, but not for me :D .
If I could have ditched her from the OLCI believe me, I'd have done it :o) .
Alas, I had to check us all in, and as my sister DL has already said, as she was the lead passenger, she achieved Seq 1 that is morally MINE :o) :o)

Now, now ladies. No fighting please! it eats into the champagne drinking time !

Erm, tonty, Nessy is DL's brother - although I do agree with the bit about drinking time! :D

Whoops ! somehow I got it it to my head that all (well except for Mr DL) the DL clan were ladies!

Sorry Nessy

Don't worry, no offence taken :D .
DL was delighted to have got Seq 1 as I don't think she has ever achieved it before?
To put all of your minds at rest no drinking time at all was wasted either in the CH or onboard by DL and DL the Elder ): .
And yes I will be crucified if/when they read that part........ :o)

Yes you will.... :(! . I have gotten seq 1 about once if memory serves me correct (can you tell I'm not obsessive ? :) )- where is it printed on the old style boarding cards? I can see it on the new white ones (dizzy heights of seq 3 being the best to date on these) but not on the old coloured ones?

We checked in for our recent LHR-LAX flight online about 1 1/2 hours after online check-in opened and only managed 37 and 38. Have never managed to get below 10.

Did OLCI for both my flights today.

OLCI for my EI flight opened at 5:50am - like I was going to be up for it then even though I did get up some 30 minutes later. It completely escaped my mind until much later when I was luxuriating under a shower in the local leisure centre. Well there wasn't a lot I could do about it then, was there? In any case EI allows you to do OLCI some 30 days before the flight provided you have pre-booked your seat so the possibility of SEQ1 two and a half hours later wasn't even zilch - it was -0!! I don't know what SEQ it is and won't until tomorrow and quite frankly I don't care. All I know is that it was over in a matter of minutes. I filled in my name, PNR and email address, confirmed the number of bags, changed the auto-generated seat assignment and, Voila!! All done in just over a minute. y)

Fast forward a few hours when I realised that OLCI had just opened for my VS flight so, why not? So, I filled in the requisite information on the OLCI and clicked the link. I waited and waited and waited and was directed to the Manage my Booking page! :0 Back to square one and repeated the exercise only to end up once more on the MMB page v( Back to square one again and this time third time lucky - well after waiting for ages with those dreadful interstitial pages. Finally on to the OLCI page which has been pre-populated and so I click on the Check In button but it throws up an error message :0 Although the country in which my phone is registered is there on one phone number it has defaulted back to blank for the second one and so I have to search for it thinking that VS is in the minority of sites using Republic of Ireland instead of Ireland :?

Finally, finally finally I am checked in. I look on the clock in the corner of the MacBook and it has taken seven minutes! :0 :0 And that's with nearly everything pre-populated!! :0 This really is a joke! OK, I wasn't there to get SEQ1. I don't even know what SEQ I did get but with the clunkiness of the site and the ridiculous loop it sent me on ( which it did last year also) I wouldn't be surprised if it were SEQ 138. :w

We await your actual SEQ with interest but with the way the VS website is playing up lately you will probably end up with -138 !

Enjoy your weekend in Dubai and nab yourself a nice rich Sheikh ): ):

Thank you, tonty. While a nice rich (and especially rich and sexy :| ) sheikh might be nice, I think I might be a bit to stroppy for him! ):

Besides, he would probably insist that I fly Emirates, Qatar and Gulfair and worst of all, insist I give up G&T xx(

According to this website I'm worth 14 camels, 5 goats and 0 sheep. The last bit is a tad embarrassing for a honey lamb :|

My 2 sons travelled with us MAN/MCO last November on the new Airbus. We were in PR, they were in EC but had got row 32 so we would not be too far apart on disembarkation. I checked them in online bang on 24 hours before ahvind read all sorts of stories about SEQ1,, and I managed it! SEQ1 and SEQ2. Enquired about upgrades - yes at £249pp but no thanks then at the bus station (The so called gate VS use to save money at MAN by herding pax onto ground transportation) they were told that there seating had been changed - not to PR but to exit row 51 which seemed a welcome improvement. Once on the plane however they discovered this to be the row behind the exit row! So, SEQ does get you noticed but not necessarilly to your benefit. VS obviously had some reason to acquire their orginal seats for some other party and possibly SEQ1 put my lads in the frame. You can't win them all!

Just got a pathetic Seq 78/79 for VS200 tomorrow ( boo-ya :) ) but since 4K and 5K are now confirmed as mine, I don't care. I just hope the snow holds off long enough for me to get out of the country!
