ok, Bart, enough writing on the chalkboard!

You must go visit the state park they have set up in Trenton based upon that crossing one cold night long ago. Its quite interesting, really, in an american 'rebel' kind of way.

Firstly it's ok,diss Trenton,I have family there and well,it's a toilet [:#]

Ok back to the topic,so is this the slot that VS is leasing from UA,or is that going to be used for another flight?

I live in NJ..

Trenton is not that bad, however I'd advise you to stay out of Camden. However although many people think of NJ just as the NJturnpike, there are really beautiful parts of it, hence the reason why SRB is opening a new virgin limited about 15 minutes away from where I live. Oh and Trenton is on the opposite side of the state from Newark so that wouldn't work as well as NYC as a landmark.

I am going to miss the option of taking the 2250 VS010 home, especially when it occasionally came with 50k miles for the bump...

Certainly agree about the later departure ... always been good for me to finish a meeting and have a cocktail with New York clients before heading home.

I agree there are parts of NJ that are great, however Trenton is a toilet and I have to make the family visit at least once a year.

The areas near the state house aren't that bad.

And the VS booking system seems to indicate that the VS045 has become the VS003 and vice versa as well, but from the start of S06. Is it a glitch, or did I miss something?

Am really going to miss that 2310 departure from JFK as well....

As of the 1st of June, they are swapping slots, to make more sense of the turnaround time on the ground in New York. That way the early flight is the early flight back from JFK as well.... Or something like that.

Ok, so now we've established Trenton is a toilet...;)

Anyway, so my namesake is now VS003?

Cheers,

Guess it's too soon to be able to book on the morning flights form JFK? Had a quick look but they don't seem to have been loaded in yet.

You can't book them on VA.com, but new flights VS25 and 26 are available on Travelocity.

The other issue is that VS002 has been moved even further back to arrive at 09:25. I could usually sneak into the office about 10:30 on a Monday now it will be about 11:00 if it's on time.

Guess I'll have to take that lovely drive across Staten Island to JFK instead or switch to Continental or (wash my mouth out) BA. [:I]

Still can't book the 25/26 on VA.com. Anyone know when these will be available direct rather than through expedia etc?

Been told the VS25/26 will be online with VAA.com from the 29th March. Has to fit in with planned website updates apparently. Well thats what the call centre said anyway
